About Zoe Pancic
Graduate from the University of Vermont 2020, BA in Political Science, Studio Art, and Music
Musician, Artist, Writer & Aspiring Conductor
A passionate and committed artistic professional, the different skills Zoe has developed creatively, academically, and relational, have been essential to who she is as a person and the work she seeks to present to the world.

Since she was young, Zoe has immersed herself in the arts and humanities: her musical skills began as a violinist in elementary school and continued into being well versed in a myriad of styles, including classical music, Celtic fiddle, sea shanties, old time and contra, and traditional Balkan/Arabic music. She is particularly knowledgeable in film score and score analysis. Zoe currently plays violin in Portland, Maine, as the fiddler for the Shank Painters, and will be working toward her MFA in orchestral conducting in Europe in the fall.

Inspired by a romantic and adventurous side, Zoe has written many personal essays and fiction pieces, as well as created digital and traditional illustrations and photography, as outlets for her unique experiences as a tall ship sailor, leader, and queer woman. You can find these throughout her website.

She currently works in arts administration roles for symphony orchestras in the United States. She seasonally is a sailor on traditionally rigged vessels.
